Equipment and Apparatus List

Here is a equipment and apparatus list I have created for the pre and post-production stages of our short film. The list shows the types of items we will be using, the cost  of this equipment, how many will be using and any other notes that need to be made. The list shows that all of the apparatus we will be using do not need to be funded by a company or person as most of it will be provided by our school media department. We only need 1 of each piece of equipment as our group only consists of three people and we are able to schedule filming days together. Within the notes column I made a note of the key things we should check before using and assembling all of the equipment. This equipment and apparatus list allows us an overview of everything we are using throughout the production stages and when we need it for.

Animatic

To create my animatic I used a software called 'Celtx Shots', which allows you to add create images or sketch your own and create a short movie with them. It also allowed me to add sound to the animatic too, which gave me a more realistic idea of what our film is going to look like overall. This software was very easy to use and allowed me to save a lot of time by providing already made characters and props to add in to the animatic. I would definitely use this software again if I wanted to create another storyboard or animatic in the future as it is not difficult to use and can save a lot of time.

Update of Production Schedule 1

This is an update of our productions schedule so far and it seems that we are on track with our progress over the past few weeks. Our next stage is to begin filming the opening scenes of our short film as we have decided on the locations, characters and props to use within our film.
